Camp Meeting: "A series of old fashioned church services held in an old fashioned church with an old fashioned preacher and old fashioned people who long for an old fashioned visitation of the power and presence of God."
Since I began going to Packs Branch Baptist Church I have attended several of the annual Camp Meetings held in October each year. It has been a great blessing every time. This year I was hindered from attending, but a very faithful man from the church brought me the recordings everyday. I received a wonderful blessing from listing to them and prepairing the audio for this website.
I used the proceeding definition of Camp Meeting on the 2005 webpage. The definition hasn't changed, nor has the love, fellowship or the presence of God felt at the meetings changed.
I wish to God that I could have been there, but God had a different plan. God's plan has made me a stronger christian with a greater desire to serve him. I hope that by listing to some of the audio that was recorded this week that you too may be blessed and be inspired to walk closer to our Lord.
